This Blogger is Taking a Brief Vacation from the Kitchen

That's right. I won't be cooking or in a kitchen from Sept. 14 - 19th. I'm headed to San Antonio, Texas to watch my daughter Amanda graduate from her Army Advanced Individual Training on Friday. That doesn't mean, however, that I won't be eating. My son Jason and his wife Sarah are joining me in Texas for the graduation and Jason, who is a BBQ junkie, has a laundry list of BBQ joints to hit while we're there. He and Sarah are staying in Austin, which if I understand my son correctly, is like BBQ mecca, so I'll have plenty of posts on the places we go to while we're there. And the best part.....no dishes to wash or kitchen while I'm gone. That's truly a vacation!
